Not Receiving Emails from World Tavern

Not Receiving Emails from World Tavern

Not receiving emails from World Tavern Poker - either the league or from a venue? We've got you covered.

Double -Check Spam! - Check your spam folders. If you have a Gmail account (or similar), check tabs first, including All Mail, Promotions, Social, Spam or Junk, or other folders/tabs.

Not A Gmail Account? If you have a non-Gmail address, it is possible that World Tavern emails may be blocked by your provider. AOL, Yahoo, and Hotmail are often a challenge. You may need to contact them in order to receive emails specifically from noreply@worldtavernentertainment.com or World Tavern Poker in general.

Add Our Email: You can also try adding the "noreply@WorldTavernEntertainment.com" email address to your contact list or address book. If none of those fixes work, you can Google your provider's help center or contact info for more details.

Reset Your Email Preferences: You can reset your own email preferences in your WTP player profile. There are two ways to do this:

OPTION 1:
  1. Log into www.WorldTavernPoker.com.
  2. Click ENTER SITE at the Newsletter section.
  3. Click My Profile near your name in the My WTP tabs area.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and UNCLICK the box next to "Check to Subscribe to WTP emails"
  5. Click the Submit button. The page will refresh.
  6. Go back to the Subscribe box, CLICK the box, and click Submit again.
Give this option a few days to see if you start receiving WTP emails again. If after that time you are still not receiving them, try this:

OPTION 2:
  1. Follow steps 1-3 in Option 1 above.
  2. Remove your email address and replace it with a made-up email (we recommend variations of "bestpokerplayerEVER@worldchamp.com")
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Submit. This effectively removes your email address from our system
  4. Once the page refreshes, remove the made-up email and replace it with your own.
  5. Click Submit.
Again, give this option a few days. If you're still not receiving WTP emails, it might be time to junk that Compuserve email address and grab yourself a Gmail address (Gmail has its own issues, but is far more reliable than most email providers).

FINAL NOTE: Email accounts have become "smarter" while also being stricter on what it considers "spam". In Gmail, for instance, your email open rate determines what emails go to your inbox and which go in other folders (including Spam). If you were getting WTP emails and aren't any longer, it may be due to not opening the emails - as in "archiving" or deleting them before opening. When you start receiving WTP emails again, be sure to keep opening them so the algorithms that operate your inbox knows you want them.
